Methodology

We will use our experience to adopt the most appropriate cost efficient process to remove the underground pollution. The process will be carried out in several stage:

Step 1: Investigation and observation phase (in collaboration with Local authorities)

• Investigation of all of the data needed to work out the technical, human and equipment needs

• Checking the accessibility of the extraction points

• Checking the administrative formalities

Step 2: Visual examination of the installation

Step3: Recovery of the town plans:

• Zoning

• Accessibility point

• Mapping

• Parking zone We carry out a precise description of the installation architecture, site plans, cable routing systems and the referenced investigation plans, which are used to identify and visually examine the installation, with the people of the technical departments of the local authority.

PRELIMINARY PHASE: BEFORE EXTRACTION

Marking out of the zone In line with the highway services:

• Publishing of the municipal authorisation order

• Installation of a gin pole and a hoist at the extraction point

• Markings at the exit zone

 

Installation

Positioning of the skips and implementation of the tools:

• Hydraulic clamps

• Disc harrows

• Air extractors

• Labour

EXTRACTION PHASE

- Cutting of the marked cables (the cables are cut using hydraulic clamps or disc harrows)

- Extraction of the abandoned cables (The cut cables are assembled into bundles). The extraction of the cables is carried out according to their accessibility in the tunnels or rooms:

• Gin pole

• Hoist if manhole

Loading of the skips using a crane.

END OF WORKSITE

• Dismantling of the equipment

• Cleaning of the zone

• Visiting and preparing an end-of-worksite report

The technical methods used on the cable extraction sites in urban environments minimise problems in terms of noise and traffic. This is because 90% of the worksite can be done underground using electrical equipment.

The loading is done over a very short time period using an air extractor

ANALYSIS OF THE DATA

• Mapping of the accessibility points

• Audit of the disused network cables

• Analysis of the composition of the said cables

• Preparation of the cable markings

• Quantitative estimate

• Evaluation of the equipment to be installed

• Copy of the specifications
